Shipping Information

Items will be shipped to you within 48 hours of receiving your order. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery. We take great care to make sure that your order arrives promptly and that your shopping experience with us is a good one. However, if problems do arise, call us at (336) 306-5735 between the hours of 10 am and 1 pm eastern time Monday through Friday. Please read our policy on exchanges & refunds before you call. For orders $35 and under, the shipping fee is $6.95. All orders under $10.00 will be charged a $3.00 low order fee in addition to the shipping fee. For orders over $35, shipping is FREE!

Exchanges & Refunds

At The Unicorn Shoppe, we want your shopping experience to be a pleasant one. We take great care, both in choosing the merchandise that we offer and in making certain that we represent these items fairly. Unfortunately, unlike the huge chain stores, we cannot offer exchanges or refunds on any item after it's been shipped to you. Therefore, we ask that you be careful in choosing your items before you purchase from us, and make sure that you really want the merchandise that you order. Also, pay attention the the item's description before you purchase. Each item in our catalog has both a photograph and a listing of the items dimensions. Make sure that the item is the right size to suit your needs and, if it's a decorative item, note from the photograph whether it will fit with your d├ęcor. Remember to click on the thumbnail photo to see an undistorted image of the product you're considering ordering.

Defective Items & Goods Damaged During Shipment

We guarantee that all items in your order will arrive in good condition. Before shipping your order to you, we make certain that it's packaged so that it will not be damaged during shipment. Although items being damaged during the shipping process is an almost unheard of event, we are aware that accidents can happen. In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged or defective, call us at 336-306-5735 during office hours (Monday - Friday; 10 am - 1 pm ,eastern time), or by email at and advise us of the situation. Our representative will instruct you on what actions you should take. Do not return the item to us unless you are instructed to do so by our representative, as we will not be responsible for any items that are returned without our instructions. You have our promise that any damaged or defective goods will be taken care of in a timely fashion. In order to have a damaged item replaced, you must notify us within five days after your order is delivered to you. Again, it's our sincere wish that your shopping experience with us is nothing but positive. Happy shopping - and be sure to tell all of your friends about our online store.

Orders To Alaska & Hawaii

We do not offer free shipping on orders being shipped to Alaska and Hawaii. If you are having an order shipped to either of these states, your shipping charges will be displayed during the second step of the check-out process. At that time, if you do not wish to pay the shipping charges, you can cancel your order by not proceeding any further with the check-out process.

Orders Outside The U.S. & Canada

We now offer affordable shipping to over 50 countries world-wide. The shipping cost of your order to your country will be automatically displayed in the shopping cart at the time of check-out. Please allow up to three weeks for delivery to locations outside of North America.

In some cases, the shipping amount that displays for destinations outside the US during the check-out process is not enough to cover the actual shipping charges incurred by us. This can be due to the fact that the item you've ordered is heavier than most items with similar pricing or because an item requires special packaging or handling. In this case, we will notify you of any additional shipping charges and stop processing your order until we receive notification from you that you wish for us to proceed. Your credit card will not be processed until you approve any additional shipping charges.

If no shipping charge shows when you place your order that means that we haven't yet set-up shipping to your country. In this case, we recommend that you go ahead and complete your purchase. We will determine whether we can ship to your country and email you with the charge amount. At that time you will have the choice to either cancel or continue with your order.

Remember, items delivered outside the United States may be subject to import duty. Many countries don't charge duty for packages with a declared value of $50.00 (US) or less, however some do. In most cases, import duties are collected by your local post office at the time of delivery.
